Angie McMahon covers “Tea, Milk & Honey” by Oh Pep!

Angie McMahon shared a cover of Oh Pep! ‘S “Tea, milk and honey”. It’s taken from Amerikinda: 20 years of Dualtone, an upcoming album celebrating the Nashville-based independent label’s 20th anniversary Two-tone. It releases August 6 and also features Dualtone artists and alumni including The Lumineers, Brett Dennen, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mt. Joy, Shovels & Rope, and Langhorne Slim. Listen to McMahon’s version of “Tea, Milk and Honey” below.

“Oh Pep! are one of my biggest songwriting inspirations, besides being beautiful friends of mine, ”McMahon said in a press release. “I used to sit in the car outside my house after working long hours at night, dealing with another day listening to the magic words of Tea, Milk & Honey. This song is like medicine for me.

Dualtone President Paul Roper added: “It is a joy and a privilege for us to be a part of creating such incredible art in the world for 20 years. Much of what we do is also ‘feel’ when looking for new artists. We were already fascinated by Angie’s music when we met her with her manager Charlotte in Nashville, but the more time we spent with them, the more at home we felt to be together. Working alongside amazing artists who also feel like soul mates is such an added gift. Angie McMahon is nothing less than a unique talent in a generation, and her cover of “Tea, Milk & Honey” (from another of our favorite Australian bands, Oh Pep!) Is an absolute marvel. “

McMahon’s debut album Salt arrived in 2019. She followed with the Sister EP 2020 Piano Salt.
