‘Coming Home’ – debut album by new metal band fronted by singer James Durbin to be released 07.08.22 via Frontiers – Metal Planet Music

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to continue its partnership with James Durbin as the American singer continues to wave the heavy metal flag with his new band Cleanbreak.

Riot V guitarist Mike Flyntz along with bassist Perry Richardson’s Stryper rhythm section and dtummer Robert Sweet round out the band’s lineup.

A debut album titled “Coming Home” will be released on July 8, with the title track available as a lead single and video starting today.

After Durbin’s well-received solo record “The Beast Awakens” (under the nickname “Durbin”), he was eager to explore other opportunities within the Frontiers family.

His goal was to create an album that paid homage to the more traditional American heavy metal sound of acts such as Riot and Fifth Angel.

Flynta was therefore an ideal choice of collaborator given that he has been a member of the former since 1989 (the group changed its name to Riot V almost a decade ago).

Given Stryper’s heavy metal heritage and recent studio albums being the heaviest of this band’s career, their rhythm section was also an ideal pair to get involved with.

Underrated players in the genre, they shine in both Cleanbreak and Stryper.

Raise your fists and/or get ready to play your air instrument of choice, because “Coming Home” is ready to be part of this summer’s metallic soundtrack!
