FIFA 23 Soundtracks: 10 World Songs That Should Be Featured

EA has been quite selective in its soundtracks in recent years, looking more and more towards less mainstream audiences.

However, we expect FIFA 23 to be no different with a few songs and artists set to return in the September release.

Well, here we have 10 songs that we think should be in EA’s next soundtrack release.

Chosen – Blxst ft Tyga & Ty Dolla $ign

Blxst’s hit “Chosen” is a collaboration between American rapper Tyga and singer Ty Dolla $ign.

It is unquestionably his greatest song until the date of his first EP, No Love Lost.

As skeptical as many may see it, EA could try something different this year by going with a basic R&B jam and they need look no further. Listen here:

Mood – 24kGoldn ft Iann Dior

It’s no surprise that 24kGolden fans are clamoring for a debut in EA’s FIFA soundtracks.

We just talked about a possibility of a change in FIFA 23’s Featured Playlist. Although Mood was released two years ago, it still has a valid reason to feature in the next edition – if EA decides to shape a little dynamics.

Romeo – Jungle ft Down

Of all the artists on this list, there’s no one better suited to EA’s FIFA soundtracks than Jungle.

The British songwriting duo featured in the previous edition and we certainly expect them to feature again.

Jungle is teaming up with Dreamville’s Bas which itself was featured on EA’s Playlist three editions ago. The feel-good hip-hop track has everything we’d love to listen to while playing the game.

IFTK – Tion Wayne & La Roux

EA has always been known to include British rap in their selections in their FIFA playlists.

We expect the upcoming release to be no different either. British rapper Tion Wayne’s collaboration with fellow British synthpop artist La Roux fits the list.

The intro itself sets a tempo for the game’s thrills, much more so for FIFA 23 itself.

What You Say – Children of the Cold War

American alternative rock band Cold War Kids also have a decent history in video game soundtracks.

They previously featured in EA rivals Konami’s eFootball game a few years ago and have made appearances in the franchise afterwards.

We expect them to feature in FIFA 23, maybe not this particular track, but definitely a decent contender here.

Make it Better – Parish Child

Child of the Parish made an appearance in FIFA 20 with their hit “Before The Moments Gone” from their EP Make It Better.

In fact, this whole project was so good that almost every song should have been on EA’s FIFA playlist.

The duo are set to make a return in FIFA 23 with another song from their 2020 project, which is also the name of the EP.

What’s wrong ? half alive

Half Alive is no stranger to EA’s playlist. The California-based band had one of the most popular songs from the FIFA 20 soundtracks with “Runaway”.

They have also featured in subsequent editions and are also set to make a comeback with this beautiful track. Listen now:

No Halo – Cartoon ft Asena

Cartoon was expected to debut in EA Soundtracks long before now.

The music group is famous for their 205 hit “On and On” which features Daniel Levi.

However, it is very possible that they will appear in the FIFA 23 playlist with their 2022 track No Halo which features Turkish singer Asena. Listen below:

Cant’ Stop – FKJ & Little Dragon

Vincent Fenton, better known as “FKJ”, is one of the most talented instrumentalists in French urban music.

“French Kiwi Juice,” as he affectionately calls it, is the source of some of the country’s biggest records. Known for his solo live performances, he teamed up with Swedish electronic band – Little dragon, for I can not stop.

It’s not a typical fast-paced FIFA track, but we’ve seen some slow-paced jams on EA soundtracks, because it’s no secret that curators don’t focus too much on traditional acts.

Nostalgic – Rvssian, Rawu Alejandro & Chris Brown

EA is also known to have a flair for a variety of world genres and dancehall jams are certainly not excluded.

Jamaican record producer Rvssian has teamed up with Puerto Rican singer Rawu Alejandro and American music superstar Chris Brown, for Nostalgic.

VOLTA Football has absolutely nothing on this jam and it is perfectly suited for this particular mode.

Rvssian was also the producer of another hit that appeared on VOLTA two editions ago – Projector by Nigerian music superstar Rema.
