She captioned the post, “Billie is a guest star in @TheSimpsons ‘When Billie Met Lisa,’ the new short premiering April 22nd on @disneyplus.”
The next short will premiere on Disney+ later this month, when Eilish and her brother Finneas discover the musical talents of Lisa Simpson.
The chart-topping star then invites Lisa into her studio for a recording session she will never forget.
“When Billie Met Lisa” will become the fourth in a collection of shorts created exclusively for Disney+, with previous productions such as “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens from Its Nap’ and ‘The Good, The Bart, and The Loke”.
The most recent of these shorts was “The Simpsons in Plusaversary,” which premiered on Disney+ on November 12.
Meanwhile, in March, Eilish won the Best Original Song Oscar for her James Bond theme song.
The singer then revealed that she was desperate to impress actor Daniel Craig with her song “No Time To Die”.
She shared, “(Daniel Craig) is the nicest man in the world, and I just wanted him to like her.
“I wanted him to feel like it represented his (Bond) years and his last movie. I wanted him to be happy first and foremost. I mean come on, it’s James Bond.
Eilish was initially “intimidated” by the task of writing a Bond theme.
The music star is a longtime fan of the film franchise and described making the record as an “incredible experience”.
She said: “(I was) scared. Very intimidated. But we’ve admired the music of the Bond franchise for as long as I can remember.
“It’s so weird, there was no confusion between Bond and the music. It’s been such a big part of our lives for so long that the fact that we were involved was incredible, and the approach was very exhilarating, at the peak of life, and also frightening.
