Jinjer Singer Brings Clean Vocals To Fierce Decapitated New Song

Five years removed from the Anticult album, Polish tech-death brutes Decapitated will go wild Culture of cancer May 27. With the title track already out, the band followed it up with another preview of what’s to come on the new LP with a music video for “Hello Death,” which features clean vocals from Jinjer vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk.

“Jinjer are one of the most interesting bands in metal music in recent years and Tatiana’s vocals on the song will surprise some people,” Decapitated frontman and guitarist Vogg said of the latest single.

“Hello Death” marks another expansion of Decapitated’s sound, anchored by their frenetic, strobe riffs that fade in intensity and build nervous tension with muted tremolo rhythms and technical leads on which Shmayluk lends his enchanting vocals.

Watch the music video below.

“We changed our path from record to record every time,” Vogg said of Decapitated’s endless pursuit for new stylistic elements. “Each album differs from the previous one, which I think is kind of a tradition in our band, a trademark. Of course, it’s not something we plan to do, it comes naturally. I like to explore new musical territory and always be honest with the feelings that i put into what i create. i have no intention of doing anything more melodic or romantic or rough or anything. it’s very organic , no matter how I feel at the time. It might be too risky for some bands. , but our fans know that we never deliver the same music twice. We want to surprise them and show them how versatile music is .”

“There is always something new for this kind of music, but at the same time it will be based on my roots,” continued the guitarist. to grow.”

Culture of cancerthe eighth feature film from Decapitated, will be released on Nuclear Blast and pre-orders can be placed here. View the album art and track listing further down the page where you’ll also find the music video for the previously released title track.

Beheaded, “Hello Death” lyrics

All those adorable little lambs
End up like deaf strays
Tirelessly chasing their tail
bark the wrong tree
Live in fear to leave in fear
Pissing their dens, moaning sacred hymns

hello death
I returned
Nothing better than being at home
sweet grave grave

Curious philosophers
Influencers and Followers
Big boobies and their golden rings
Skinny thieves with all gold teeth
Bridges, churches and dollhouses
Emptiness swallows everything

hello death
I returned
Nothing better than being at home
sweet grave grave
hello death
I returned
Nothing better than being at home
hello death
I returned
sweet grave grave

Moth floating around the candle
Loves the light but fears the heat
And yet the flame is inevitable
You can run but you can’t hide
You can pray but why waste time
You are born, you blink and then you die

Moth floating around the candle
Loves the light but fears the heat
And yet the flame is inevitable
You can run but you can’t hide
You can pray but why waste time
You are born, you blink and then you die

I struggled with death
This is the least thrilling contest you can imagine
It happens in an impalpable greyness, with nothing underfoot
With nothing around, without spectators, without glamor
Without glory, without great desire for victory
Without the great fear of defeat
Without the great fear of defeat
