Nashville Metalcore Band Orthodox Signs With Century Media To Release “Body & Soul”

Nashville metalcore band Orthodox having signed at Media century and their first single for the label is “Body & Soul”, their first new music since the Unbeaten Records album released last year. Let it take its course. It’s an aggressive, in-your-face metalcore rage, and the Orthodox aren’t afraid of a little nu metal influence. The group also revealed that they are currently working on a new album with producer Randy LaBoeuf (The Acacia Strain, Kublai Khan, Chamber), so stay tuned for more and watch the video made by Erick Easterday for the new song below.

Commenting on the signing, the group said, “Pretty hilarious, we signed with CM in early 2020, waiting to break the news until the time is right. Now that that moment has arrived, we’re at- beyond the ecstasy of sharing what we ‘I worked on and can’t wait to see what kind of impressions we can make with this team behind us. “

Century Media A&R Vice President Mike Gitter adds, “Orthodox’s second album, Let it take its course, was complete maturity not only for the band, but a record that took hardcore and metal to a cool and uncomfortably emotional place. It’s the kind of record that bleeds with real vulnerability and honesty. And it breaks your head in the process! Orthodox is going to be a group that will not only set the standard, but also make records that people will connect with for years to come. “

As mentioned, Orthodox will open The acacia strainfull album tour, which also has the support of Kublai Khan and Dying wish (who just released his great first LP Fragments of a bitter memory). This tour arrives in Brooklyn on November 8 and 9 in Saint-Guy, with The Acacia strain playing on 2019 It comes in waves more songs from the 2020s Slow decomposition the first night and their classic 2010 Mugwort the second night.
