One of the largest and most popular music festivals in the world, Coachella, finally returned after a three-year hiatus. Grammy winners Doja Cat, Arooj Aftab, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Swedish House Mafia and The Weekend were some of the many artists lined up to perform at the weekend festival. However, the highlight of the event was Raveena Aurora, who became the first Indian woman to perform at Coachella. The festival was the first stop on his North American tour.
The Indian-born singer treated fans to an unexpected cover of the Bollywood song “Dum Maro Dum” from the film Hare Krishna Hare Ram (1971).

Only the real ones will know the cultural significance of me singing dum maro dum at Coachella, a song from an iconic Indian film “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” which was about the westernization of Indian spirituality 😜
