Who composed the score?

In addition to the licensed songs used in the Black Panther 2 soundtrack, Wakanda Forever’s musical identity is also reinforced with an original score by Ludwig Göransson.

The Swedish composer created the music for the original Black Panther film and won an Oscar for his efforts.

In addition to scoring Black Panther, Göransson is also responsible for composing the music for the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, as well as the theme for The Book Of Boba Fett.

Away from Star Wars, the 38-year-old composer has also composed the music for the films Creed and Creed II, 2018’s Venom, Pixar’s Turning Red and the short film Inner Workings as well as the TV series Community.

To coincide with the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ludwig Göransson’s score and an album of the film’s soundtrack have been released on music streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
